Climate in Southern Costa Rica

December through April is considered  summer time,  and you will find little or no rain at all. Temperatures at this time normally have highs  between 60 - 80 Fahrenheit, or 26 - 38  Centigrade.

From May on.. the rainy season starts with afternoon showers and mostly rain at night, and in September and October, the heavy rain begins. Since Costa Rica is not in the hurricane belt, you won`t have problems with tough storms.

Along the coast, the temperature is a little hot and humid; in places like San Isidro Perez Zeledon, San Vito, and Coto Brus, the temperature is fresher.

Climate Warm.warm, warm.all the year round! However, being surrounded by water makes the climate more favorable.

No matter the time of the year, the land is always green !!
