In Perez Zeledon, there is excellent quality, very pure water, but further down the pacific coast, the water is not so good. It is usually recommended that tourists buy bottled water, of which there are many quality choices available. Although the water in San Isidro is of good quality, any foreigner should drink small amounts of water at regular intervals in order to get accustomed to it.
