Electrical Services

The ICE (Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad - Costa Rican Institute of Electricity) is responsible for providing all types of electrical services in Costa Rica. This company has done excellent work, and due to it being a state monopoly, is not so much interested in making a profit as it is in offering quality services to the whole community. Today, more than 90% of Costa Rica has electricity. No matter how small or isolated the community, the company has attempted to provide electrical services. This service is offered in 110 volts and 220 volts and is permanent.
