Look out for the occasional armadillo, iguana, squirrel and opossum that might cross your path!

The local birder David Elizondo will take you to find the birds on your list and help with photography of birds and landscapes. This is one of the great opportunities in Costa Rica  to see the quetzal, toucan, goldfinch, collared trogon, black guan, crested hawk and many other unique species at close range. Close to 230 bird species have been recorded between 1200 to 3820 meters.

You can choose between the following birding locations: foothill of Chirripo National Park , Hedgerows and Lanes, Cloudbridge Reserve and Finca El Pelicano Hotel.
