This land is used for agriculture but is now large nature reserve conserves approximately 23 465 hectares of virgin forest. Located in southern Costa Rica, near the frontier with Panama. 
 
Hacienda La Amistad has worked since 1940 in growing organic coffee since 1960 has been "the gatekeeper" of naturally great diversity of La Amistad Biosphere Reserve 
 
The owner of Amistad's lodge and reserve,Mr. Roberto Montero in the last five years has made ??changes to the way we produce coffee and fruit to make sure leaving a neutral zero-carbon footprit
