Located on 13 acres of prime real estate on the Southern Pacific coast of Costa Rica, the Lookout hotel offers its guests a vacation of luxury and privacy, surrounded by pristine beaches and lush, tropical jungle. Far from the tourist crowds, your only interruption will be parrots squawking overhead, waves crashing into shore, and howler monkeys calling from the trees. 

Costa Rica is an adventurer’s paradise and our selection of tours and packages are designed to delight you at every turn. Whether it’s kayaking, horseback riding, canopy tours, ultra light rides, white water rafting, scuba diving, snorkeling, sport fishing or whale watching, our hotel staff will guide you to local tours and packages designed especially for you. Perhaps your ideal Costa Rica vacation involves daily yoga and spa treatments or lounging at our sparkling pool overlooking the ocean with a fruity beverage in hand. No problem there, we can arrange that, too.

Our hotel has twelve brightly decorated bungalows with queen beds, ceiling fans, tiled floors, large hot water showers, and private patios. The property also features an expansive open-air restaurant, bar with Satellite TV, sparkling pool, and sunset cocktail lounge all with magnificent views of both the Pacific Ocean and the jungle.

Our breakfast includes tropical fruits, breads, juices and coffee or tea. Each evening you can sit back, enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine and watch the sun set over the ocean from our restaurant or viewing deck above. What could be better after a long, hard day at the beach or zipping through the trees?

Rates 

The Lookout has 9 Standard bungalows and 3 Superior bungalows. Superior bungalows are approximately 25% larger than our Standard rooms and contain a queen size bed and either a double or single bed. 

• All Standard bungalows have one queen size bed.
• Additional single beds are by request based upon availability.
• All bungalows have vaulted tropical hardwood ceilings with ceiling fans.
• All bungalows have large hot water showers and private patios.
• Rates are per room, per night, 1 or 2 people.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• Room rates are per room, single or double occupancy. All rates are in US dollars and do not include 13% Govt.taxes.
  Third person in room add $ 12 per night.
  No charge for children under three years of age.
  Children ages 4 - 13 pay an additional $ 9 per night when sharing the room with adults.
• Breakfast
  Tropical breakfast buffet per person $8.
  Children under three years are free.
  Children ages 4 - 13 years pay $6.
• PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE without prior notice
  – Reservations require a deposit:
  – One night’s accommodation for stays of 1-3 nights
  – Two night’s accommodation for stays of 4 or more nights
• Cancellation & Refund Policy – 100% refund of deposit if you notify us 21 days or more before your arrival date
  – 50% refund of deposit if you notify us 10-20 days before your arrival date
  – NO refund of deposit if you notify us 9 days or less before your arrival date. 
  No refund of deposit if you notify us less than 14 days before arrival for Christmas/New Year and Easter bookings.
  – The mandatory Hotel and Tourist Industry tax imposed by the government of 13% will be added to your accommodation bill.
  – A government required 10% Service Charge is added to restaurant and bar bills.
