We are a nonprofit independent Project located in San Isidro de El General, Perez Zeledon. We support artistic and cultural diffusion in the Brunca Region and Costa Rica in General since 2012.
 

We offer:

Our Projects:

• Ediciones Chirripo: a small nonprofit independent publishing house that serves culture. Founded in 1985 in San Isidro, Perez Zeledon, and refounded in 2013. We edit essays, literary and historical works, published or unpublished before, that by its thematic can help to the historical memory of the Hispano and Costa Rican culture. Two plays have been published after the refoundation. “Cornelio and Tío Prometeo”  by Ivan Moreno and Fernando Herrera respectively.
• Art and Culture diffusion in communities, schools and universities in different ways: books, handicrafts, art classes, murals, etc.
• Muestra Art Gallery: Exhibition of national and international art works (paintings and sculptures). Finished in October, 2013. Muestra is the first formal art gallery in Southern Costa Rica.  
• Public Debates ¿Qué hora es?: the first Thursday of every month at 6pm, people can discuss different topics related to politics, history and culture in general.
• Theater: We are working on a new Theater. This project will be finished in 2014.

We open Mondays to Saturdays from 9am to 6:30 pm (we are closed from 12 pm-1pm)
