Caño Island Tour Osa

The island has two paths, one going to the little Indian cemetery and one that crosses the entire island is rich in vegetation and which serves as a rest for migratory birds, and some residents.

The great wealth that this island has is under the choppy blue waters around the island and the great biodiversity of fish and coral reefs make this island paradise.

The coral reefs surrounding the island grow to a depth of 15 meters to host a multitude of small and large species that give life to this beautiful, natural and scenic island, common mackerel shoals around the island some sharks are frequently and striped blankets.

It is one of the favorite places of Costa Rica for scuba diving and deep diving, as they have identified suitable sites for such activity.

There are chances to observe whales and dolphins along the way it does from Punta Uvita to Caño Island. This tour lasts approximately 8 hours, the departure time is 7:30 am, food is included, entrance fees, snorkeling equipment.
