San Clemente is one of the cooler-looking places to eat. A lot of effort has gone into creating not only a restaurant, but a place to hang out, with an easy going image and vibe. You can dine inside or out, or even choose to sit in half an old school bus built into the wall. The English-Spanish menu is a piece of art in itself, one side completely dedicated to colorful drawings. The bar and grill is open for breakfast from 7 to 8.30 a.m., San Clemente also serves lunch and dinner. Prices range from about $3 to $10 for typical western and Costa Rican food, such as burgers, sandwiches, rice and seafood dishes. This is the home of Spicy Mike’s Homemade Hot Sauce, so give it a go. A community notice board and the post office are also located here.
