Our company begins about 16 years ago, near to the Marino Ballena Nacional Park, and we start to be a referential point in the area to see the whales and the dolphins. The Marino Ballena National Park was created on February 06, 1989,. This marine park was the first in Latinamerica with 110 hectares of land and the 5375 hectares of ocean, it was created to protect the various coastal marine habitats, like the beaches, estuaries, mangrove swamps, islands, coral reefs and also to protect the marine endangered species like the humpback whales that come every year from the northern and the southern hemispheres, this area have a peaceful and warmer waters specially for the humbacks have their babies. You will enjoy a trip with us, is a very nice experience in the in the pacific ocean and in the tropical rainforest of Costa Rica.

In addition, we can take you to the Caño Island Biological Reserve or to Corcovado National Park or if you like to take an adventure expedition, choose to go by kayak to the Mangroves Swamps, enjoy the paddling in the meantime you see the wildlife and birds of this area.

WHALE WATCHING AND DOLPHIN TOUR

This tour takes from 2 to 3 hours. If you like, you can snorkel for 1 hour. You need to have al least 2 people to book this tour. The whales can be seen from november to March and from July to September. We usually see Humpback and Pilot Whales. Dolphins are seen all year around. The whale watching and dolphins tour is the number one, we are specialists on these. The Cetaceans are very common animals on this area, they come here during the migration season to give birth to the calves and to feed them for a few months until them get strong and can go back home to the northern or southern hemisphere.

CAVES AND MARINO BALLENA NATIONAL PARK TOUR

SNORKELING TOUR

Snorkeling Tour On the Marino Ballena National Park we do a snorkeling trips, with a short skills you will learn the fundamentals necessary for safe snorkeling. You will be under the direct supervision of a guide. If you enjoy nature, you will love Costa Rica below the surface, this area is one of the Pacific Coast most popular snorkeling destination. The Marino Ballena National Park have a colourful rock and reef formations are the home of huge schools of barracuda, jacks and grunts. There are also numerous species of pelagic fish, turtles, groupers, snappers, ,King angelfish, Moorish idols, trumpet fish and various types of eels and crustaceans, also the giant conch.. This tour take about 2 hours, the snorkeling sites will be the Ballena Island or Punta Uvita. We recommend to do the snorkeling at Low Tide. The visibility ranges will be between 25 to 75 feet. It depends on the season. We provide you with all the gears you need to do the snorkeling.

CAÑO ISLAND BIOLOGICAL RESERVE TOUR

We leave for this sites at 7 a.m. and return at 4 p.m. On this trip, we provide you with lunch, pay the park entry fee and also provide your wit the snorkeling equipment. At these sites you can go hiking, swim at the beach, and see wildlife and tropical rainforest. We aboard the boat at Punta Uvita at the Marino Ballena National Park.

CORCOVADO NATIONAL PARK AND SAN JOSECITO BEACH TOUR

We leave for this sites at 7 a.m. and return at 4 p.m. On this trip, we provide you with lunch, pay the park entry fee and also provide your wit the snorkeling equipment. At these site you can go hiking, swim in t Dolphin Tours he rivers or at the beach, and see a lot of wildlife and tropical rainforest. We aboard the boat at Punta Uvita at the Marino Ballena National Park.

The Corcovado National Park is the last original tract of the tropical forest in Central America. This area of the humid rain forest is home to Costa Rica Largest Populacion of the Scarlet Macaw, more than 700 species of trees, and too many mammals like the jaguars, monkeys, coati and peccaries and reptiles like boa snakes.

KAYAKING AND SNORKELING ON THE MARINO BALLENA NATIONAL PARK

The Kayak tours are designed to take you to a good snorkeling sites in the Marino Ballena National Park or just enjoy the paddling adventure, We need at least 2 persons to have a kayak tour. We supply you with the snorkeling equipment, water and a lifejacket. Always before the tour our guide will teach how to Kayaking Tour paddle and give you a technical chat, a safety speech and introduce you in the environment you are seen. You will also be accompanied by a guide who can help`you and answer all your questions. This tour is highly recommended

On this tour we paddle to a different points to do the kayaking and the snorkeling.

Our first tour goes to the Caves. We drive from Bahía Ballena to Piñuela for about 6 kilometers. At the put in section we provide you with the equipment and our bilingual guide tell you about the National Park and give a technical chat about safety skills and how to paddle ,after this we begin to paddle 1 hour where the caves are, near to Ventanas beach. Then we return padling to Piñuelas beach if you want, if not, you can paddle to the Tres Hermanas Islands and to Ballena Beach. On this site we take some fruits and water to revitalize your body., After this small break we will return you to the pick up point.

Our second tour goes to Ballena Island. We drive from bahía ballena to Ballena Beach for about 4 kilometers. At the put in section we provide you with the equipment and our bilingual guide tell you about the National Park and give a technical chat about safety skills and how to paddle ,after this we begin to paddle 1 hour where the Ballena Island is. On this area we do a very good snorkeling for 1 hour. Then we return paddling to Ballena Beach On this site we take some fruits and water to revitalize your body., After this small break we will return you to the pick up point.

Our Third tour goes to Punta Uvita or the whale tail. We drive from our office to the Punta Uvita beach for about 300 meters. At the put in section we provide you with the equipment and our bilingual guide tell you about the National Park and give a technical chat about safety skills and how to paddle ,after this we begin to paddle half an hour where the whale tail is. On this area we do a very good snorkeling for 2 hours. Then we return paddling to Punta Uvita Beach. On this site we take some fruits and water to revitalize your body., After this small break we will return you to the pick up point.

You do not need experience to do this trips, our tour guide will be willing to introduce you to the techniques of how to do the paddling safer and efficiently. Our departure time is based upon low tide on all this tours and they have a duration time of 3 or 4 hours.

MANGROVES BOAT TOUR

This tour has been designed to go to the mangroves swamps at Humedal Nacional Terraba Sierpe, this is the biggest mangrove forest in Central America. Is located in the southern of Costa Rica, on the area you wil see the Mangle Caballero, Mangle Piñuela, and other 4 mangle species. Now in Costa Rica the mangroves are protected. In the past the mangrove tree was used for charcoal, dyeing Leather, firewood, construction, and other uses.

MANGROVES KAYAK TOUR

The Kayak tours are designed to take you to see the mangroves wildlife at the Hatillo River Mangroves or at the Humedal Nacional Terraba Sierpe or just enjoy the paddling adventure, We need at least 2 persons to have a kayak tour. We supply you with the snorkeling equipment, water and a lifejacket. Always before the tour our guide will teach how to paddle and give you a technical chat, a safety speech and introduce you in the environment you are seen. You will also be accompanied by a guide who can help`you and answer all your questions. This tour is highly recommended.
