The Mountain Hotel and Restaurant Aguas de Reposo in Pérez Zeledón, is a Project totally contributing to regional culture, through the motivation of talents in the areas of music, poetry, dance and craftwork. Aguas de Reposo, mountain Hotel & Restaurant in Pérez Zeledón, also supports organized groups in the areas of botany, ecology, conservation of the environment and research of the flora and fauna pertaining to the region of Pérez Zeledón and the Southern Costa Rica area .

The Mountain Hotel

The project (Mountain hotel & restaurant) has 4 hectares of forest, suitable for field work and research of the local flora and fauna. It provides totally equipped cabins for your comfort, located around a natural lagoon and on our paths.

The Mountain Hotel Aguas de Reposo is locate at less than 5 minutes from Perez Zeledon downtown.

We organize at least one activity per week for these areas, (live music concerts, folk dances, poetry workshops, exhibition of craftwork, paintings, sculptures, etc.)

Restaurant Services

In our restaurant we offer typical Costa Rican food, particularly wood-cooked. Our specialties are meats, exportation meat cuts, T-Bone, tenderloin medallions, stuffed tenderloin, churrasco (grilled meat), Castilla rabbit meat, produced in our own farm.

Traditional foods, papaya hash, arracache hash, chayote and corn hash, squash creams, beef and vegetable stew, gallo pinto, homemade tortillas, specially seasoned tortillas, corn pasta, chorreadas (special corn tortillas), baked tamale pastry, pozole, mazamorra (cornflour pudding) and others.

Chicharrones (fried pork rinds) and also an executive lunch for public employees. (Take your time, you deserve it). All our meat cuts and foods are prepared with natural seasonings.

How to arrive?

Our Mountain Hotel is located just 15 minutes from the city of San Isidro del General, Pérez Zeledón, 1,500 meters southwest from the old Escuela Villa Ligia (school), at an altitude of 1,500 meters above sea level with an average temperature of 71º F.
