1. Design and implementation of environmental projects:

Consulting in managing, replanting, and protecting of the forest:

The natural forest is known for its great importance, especially about its effect on global warming, which is so important that it’s necessary to make plans for managing its use and conservation, and the replanting of new areas with native plants and trees. For this there are different models that are worthy.

Establishing, consulting, and managing of Forest Nurseries:

Plants for commercial use, or for multiple uses, or for a slow growing design, or for fruit leaf and seed bearing plants that feed the wildlife, and commonly, for the preservation of those plants in danger of extinction, so that the planning of the nursery will meet the desired needs

Establishing, consulting, and managing of Forest Plantations:

The plantations offer a fast alternative for replanting areas under use for agriculture and livestock, or an area that has a poor vegetation or plant diversity. It’s actually a beautiful experience, and can have a big range of possibilities, such as fast growing or slow, while making objectives according to the priorities of the owner as well as to the characteristics of the site. Each plantation requires a series of chores such as; trimming, cutting, clearing, to be able to get the hi quality product that is wanted, and that can be commercialized.

Rescue of endangered plants and trees:

These species for the majority have the highest commercial value, are the most exploited, are difficult to acquire the seeds, and are slow growing. In the managing of the farm, one looks for and should implement a group of alternatives, focusing on the vision of a sustainable forest.

2. Industrial consulting:

Primary cutting and preparing of wood:

A plantation who’s main objective is commercial, not only full fills that function, but it also serves several other functions as well, such as protecting, establishing carbon, improving the soil, helping the wildlife, and producing wood among others. It is for these reasons that Industry is now focusing on maximizing the use of smaller, younger trees.

Manufacturing furniture and other products:

One should come with experience, knowledge, and good equipment to implement this type of business.

Cutting and transporting of the wood:

These actions should be carried out in conjunction with the planned objectives, in function with the market and the different options at the moment of making the decision.

3. Permit procedures and legal advice:

Procedure for obtaining legal permits:
Valid Costa Rican legislation requires that an authorization or permit is obtained for the cutting and transportation of wood, even if it is from a plantation. APRA requires that a technician from the forestry regent come and draw the plans for the cutting and transporting, before the permits will be given.

Procedure for paying for environmental service:

The forestry system has promoted the protection and conservation of the primary and secondary forests, and as an incentive they have created a payment thru the protection of natural forest, the establishment of plantations, and the replanting of native species in areas that have been used for livestock and agriculture, doing this as an effort to make a contribution on a world level against the problem of the hibernation effect, producing oxygen and CO2, among other benefits.

4. Protection of the forest and producing of CO2:

Developing projects for the protection of the forest:

For this a technician from this field is required, who will define the objectives of the owner in accordance with the plans of the state, according to the model that has been adopted, such as; submitting to voluntarily protect the available area of forest, all or part of, which offers an extra guarantee to the owner, as a legal security on the farm, before the possible invasion of other people, submitting the area of forest, total or partial, as payment for environmental services thru the protection of the forest.

5. Managing of farms and employees:

Every project, be it protecting the forest, a plantation, or other, requires a special following and management to best reach the desired objectives. For those interested we offer such options as: contracting and managing of farm workers and their training. Paying of social charges and insurances. Study of the farms soil. Maintaining fences and patrols. A detailed study of the present soil and the options for future use of the farm.

6. Selling of farms:

We have a large list of farms for sale, some with 100% forest, others that are a mix of forest and open areas, some with great views, and other that are ready for reforestation.
